Brother Martin Holiday break House Tour Dec. 3

3 houses will be open Dec. 3 for the Brother Martin Superior College Females of the Protect Vacation Dwelling Tour.

From noon to 3 p.m., contributors can view 105 and 242 Mulberry Push and 303 Vincent St. in Previous Metairie.

Desserts and cocktails will be supplied at many stops, with the Crusader Band providing musical entertainment. Vacation distributors will also be on hand. 

Tickets start out at $30, $65 for patrons. Proceeds go to the Women of the Protect Endowment at the faculty.

PRC plans house tour, patron party

The Preservation Resource Middle kicks off its holiday getaway happenings with the 47th Getaway House Tour Patron Get together on Dec. 3, adopted by the tour of households and a bonus property Dec. 10-11.

6 Yard District properties, dressed for the holiday seasons, will be involved in the tour. There will also be new music, a boutique, ebook signings and layout talks.

Houses on the tour, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will include:

  • 2328 Chestnut St.
  • 1221 First St.
  • 1225 3rd St.
  • 1339 Toledano St.
  • 3303 and 3311 Coliseum St.
  • Louise S. McGehee University, 2343 Prytania St.

The boutique is positioned at the college. Tour headquarters are at The Rink, 2727 Prytania St.

An enhanced expertise is readily available that involves a curated tour for 15 persons, two excursions every working day.

Tour and caroling set for French Quarter Dec. 18

Decorations abound in the French Quarter homes included in the Patio Planters of the Vieux Carré’s once-a-year Holiday break House Tour.

The self-guided walking tour features five private residences from midday to 4 p.m. Dec. 18. A restricted amount of tickets will be offered.

A variety of household variations and decors will be bundled in the function, which precedes the yearly Caroling in Jackson Sq. at 7 p.m.
