    Fire destroys home on Garden Highway in Sacramento County

    A fire destroyed a big home in an unincorporated location of Sacramento County alongside the Backyard garden Freeway west of Interstate 80 on Thursday early morning.The blaze broke out after 3 a.m. on the 2300 block of the Back garden Highway, west of Interstate 80, the Sacramento Fireplace Section claimed. Up to 80 personnel were being battling the blaze and SMUD was also on scene to ensure safety, KCRA 3’s Erin Heft documented. Crews believe the spouse and children who lived at the residence was out of city and the house empty. There are no documented injuries. Sacramento Fire Department spokesman Cpt.
