Rosie on the House: Door-to-door solar sales | Home & Garden

    July 18, 2022 /

Rosie Romero Particular to the Arizona Day-to-day Star Gone are the times of the Fuller Brush, Kirby vacuum, and other Willy Loman-esque doorway-to-doorway salesman. But most importantly don’t permit any not known person into your property whom you did not invite. If you are not snug opening the door, inform them to leave a card below the doormat or in the doorway and seem at it afterwards. Usually check out the title with the Arizona Registrar…

They are best harvested young and can be eaten sauteed, boiled or steamed. Young tender leaves can be blended into other salad greens for fresh eating. Horseradish…

    July 15, 2022 /

Debra and Steve Koenig describe the 5 acres that surround their River Hills home in various ways. She calls it a labor of love. He calls it a tremendous amount of work. They both say it’s central to their lives. “There’s no question about that. We spend most of our time in the growing months working on our property. It takes constant work when you have a property this big,” she said. “Gardening mixes the pleasures of physical exertion, intellectual stimulation, problem solving, creativity and beauty. Neither of us gardened growing up and we have no formal training, but we both love the outdoors, and we were influenced by people close to us…
