Submitted Photo Area residents can celebrate the winter season by making a fresh holiday decoration with natural greens for their own home or as a special gift. The Audubon Community Nature Center is offering three Decorating with Greens opportunities to make a small wreath, table decoration, or swag with beautiful natural greens. Workshop times are Saturday, Dec. 4, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., 12:30 to 2 p.m., and 2:30 to 4 p.m. Create something of one’s own design and take home a unique holiday decoration.  The Audubon Neighborhood Nature Center will maintain its 2021 vacation wreath fundraiser, with orders owing by Monday, Nov. 22. Purchasers can choose possibly a plain wreath of contemporary greens or a “Uniquely Audubon” wreath with a wide variety of sustainably harvested purely natural things including white pine cones, cedar, lavender, milkweed seed pods, grasses, and extra. Facts on the pure items utilised in this year’s Uniquely Audubon wreath will be involved with a buy. Wreaths are created on a sturdy wire frame and completed sizes vary amongst 18 and 20 inches.
