The annual Joe Ghio Iris Sale is Saturday
Joe Ghio of Bay Perspective Gardens is having his 16th Annual “One Hour Iris Sale” of his conclusion-of-the-season surplus irises on Saturday. The sale is from 9-10 a.m. at 1201 Bay St. in Santa Cruz. There will be a fantastic range of the newest and most well-known tall bearded iris rhizomes hybridized by Ghio and some of the top hybridizers in the area. Most rhizomes are $5 every.

The Santa Cruz Backyard Exchange will consider a spot from 8-9 a.m. Saturday at the Live Oak Grange, 1900 17th Ave. Santa Cruz. Watsonville Wetlands Observe will host its 9th Annual Slide Native Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 2 at the Fitz Wetland Academic Useful resource Middle at Pajaro Valley Higher School, 500 Harkins Slough Road, Watsonville.
